VTCT is delighted to announce that we have been shortlisted in the prestigious Federation of Awarding Bodies (FAB) awards within the ‘Qualification of the year’ category for our Infection Prevention(COVID-19) suite and ‘Awarding Organisation of the year’ category.

We are incredibly proud of the dynamism and innovation that we have managed to achieve during some of the most tumultuous years the world has seen and honoured to be recognised for our agility and commitment to the education sector.

Alan Woods OBE, Chief Executive of VTCT, said “VTCT has always been at the forefront of innovation with the needs of our learners, centres and industries at the heart of everything we do. This unprecedented past year has seen our organisation pulling together to achieve more than we thought possible, showing our wholehearted dedication to providing learners with a direct line of sight into a job and enhancing learner outcomes.

I look forward to attending the Awards and wish all of the nominees the very best of luck and my congratulations on their nomination.”

Tom Bewick, FAB Chief Executive, said, “This year we received an abundance of excellent nominations for the FAB Awards, all of which were of a very high standard and demonstrated the commitment of our members to learners and the sector. I am immensely proud of how our industry has risen to the challenges of the last two years, and I have heard and seen so many examples of excellence demonstrated by individuals and teams pulling together to support one another as well as centres, employers and of course learners. We look forward to celebrating as an industry on 11 November.”

Now in its 6th year, the FAB 2021 Awards dinner, sponsored by Creatio, is being held at the end of the first day of the FAB Conference, on 11 November at the Marriott Hotel in Leicester.

The FAB Awards recognises the contributions made by awarding organisations and their employees to education and skills in the UK over the past year.
