External Associates – Hospitality and Catering Qualifications

We offer a comprehensive range of qualifications, assessments and services in 17 sectors, including Hospitality and Catering, Hairdressing, Logistics and Early Years. Working closely with employers and training providers, our qualifications are backed by industry and trusted around the world.

We are excited to be developing a new suite of hospitality and catering qualifications and are looking for passionate and dynamic subject experts to help us with writing and reviewing innovative content and assessment. This is a great opportunity for those who are keen to use their skills to advance professionalism in this sector.

Specialisms we are looking for:

• Production Cookery
• Professional Cookery
• Food and Beverage Service
• Hospitality Services
• Professional Cookery Supervision
• Food and Beverage Supervision
• Hospitality Supervision

Principal responsibilities:  

• To work as part of a team to develop curriculum content for new qualifications
• To work as part of a team to develop assessment products for new and existing qualifications
• To attend organised training that will assist in the execution of the role
• To work to an agreed schedule to produce information in a timely manner

Essential Criteria:

• Excellent English language skills
• Qualified in a subject related to the work
• 3 years current, hands-on experience of working in the industry
• Evidence of Continuous Professional Development
• No conflict of interest in relation to this role

Desirable Criteria:

• Experience of developing qualifications and assessments
• Experience in an education or training/development role
