How can you find a regulated qualification?
There are multiple ways to find a regulated qualification. The Ofqual Register of Regulated Qualifications houses an index of every regulated qualification available in England. From there you can search for your qualifications and find an awarding organisation that offers them.
If you want to become a training provider and deliver qualifications from a regulated awarding organisation, you can follow the same process.
Is my qualification regulated?
There is also a simple process to check if you are currently on or delivering a qualification that is regulated. Every regulated qualification will have a unique Qualification Number assigned by Ofqual. For example, 603/6160/8 is the code for VTCT (ITEC) Level 2 Award in Infection Prevention (COVID-19) for Make-Up Services. That code can be searched and found on the Ofqual register of regulated qualifications to confirm.
The iTEC and VTCT websites also have qualifications categorised by sector or by proximity to you, making it easy to find a regulated iTEC or VTCT qualification.
