Today marks the first day of National Apprenticeship Week 2022 and we have an action-packed programme coming throughout the week. The week will feature an array of interviews with industry professionals, training providers and apprentices to inspire you to take on apprenticeships, become a training provider, or offer apprenticeships in your business or workplace.
We’ll be speaking to Medusa Training Academy, a hairdressing training provider who work to help provide solutions to apprenticeships, individual training needs and salon support. Medusa offer a variety of specific courses, from technical cutting to barbering. We’ll be speaking to Managing Director, Colin McAndrew, and one of this apprentices about their passion for education, and what inspires them.
We’ll be speaking to Francesco group Telford, and training provider, Mike Taylor Education. They’re the people you want to hear from if you’re interested in a career in the hair industry. We’ll be finding out their views on Apprenticeships, and how beneficial they can be for the training provider, the employer and the apprentice.
We’ve scheduled Day in the Life videos as an insight into the daily duties of an apprentice, and what a typical day involves. If you’re curious about starting an apprenticeship, and how the blend of working and learning works, you won’t want to miss this.
We couldn’t let National Apprenticeship Week pass without celebrating our Apprenticeship training providers’ award nominations, and looking back at how we are, and will continue to, support you through unprecedented times.
